Chloe has designed process-centered classes, workshops, and demonstrations for organizations including Minneapolis Institute of Art, International Folk Art Market, the Minnesota State Fair, Textile Center of Minnesota, Fresh Eye Arts and Gallery, and Minnesota’s regional libraries, as well as youth organizations and day programs which support people with disabilities.
She has developed curriculum for over thirty fiber art classes for Textile Center’s youth and outreach programs, and conceptualized projects and curriculum for six of Textile Center’s Youth Fiber Art Guild Kits.
Her approach prioritizes process over product, encouraging students and participants to greet techniques from their own perspective, learning foundational skills as they transform the end product into a creative object of their own imagination. She is continually delighted by the spark imaginative energy each new classroom or community setting brings.
