Slumber Party
Tell me about your dreams and I’ll tell you about mine. Say them out loud or write them down Through acknowledgement, the dream takes dimension: breath, reverberation, ink, thread.
The more you offer to your dreams, the more they will reciprocate in kind: visits occur more regularly, patterns emerge. This kind of relationship can only be experienced through memory.
Slumber Party is a body of work which honors the many-eyed midnight ecosystem found in the land of dreams. Through the slow and inherently repetitive process of handwork, dream matter can be shaped into a material object, pulled from the imaginal river which flows through sleep.
